Facilities

This year, Pennsylvania STEAM Academy will open its doors at the historic Midtown II Academic Building at Third and Reily Streets in Midtown Harrisburg. A landmark educational building in the city, it was originally built in 1918 as the Evangelical Press Building. It was fully rehabilitated by GreenWorks Development in 2006, including new plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, new windows and roof, and all new interior fit-out. Classrooms, common areas, labs, and eating spaces are furnished in the bright color palette selected by the school’s founders. The sunbathed environment is designed for an inspired, joyful learning experience.

The building sits at the center of the Midtown Harrisburg redevelopment project, a nine-block area that is being revitalized as a live-work-play-and-learn community. The area already features shops, restaurants, an independent movie theater, the Susquehanna Art Museum, the Midtown Scholar Bookstore, and the Broad Street Market. The building sits five blocks north of the Pennsylvania State Capitol.

We invite you to see and experience our new home.
